The shopping is done.
The gifts are all wrapped.
 The House has been decorated.
And the goodies are baked.

Now the waiting begins.
For family that is close,
and those far away,
To come fill the house
With love and the noise.

Merry Christmas to all,
and to all a good night!

Last Glass order of the year!

I finished my last glass order before Christmas.
It is a 3D humming bird sun catcher.
I'm showing three different angels of it.
Now I can relax and enjoy the last few days before Christmas.

It has been a very long crafting season.   This is the first season I have done this many shows.   For August and September we did three shows most weeks.  We dropped down to a couple a week for the first couple of weeks in October and then down to one almost every weekend through
the 12 of December.  In some ways I am sad it is coming to an end but I am ready for a break for a couple of months.  I will be working on new inventory and stocking up on some of my best sellers over the winter.  I hope to create more of an online presence as well.  I will also be deciding  which shows I will participate in next spring and summer.  Maybe I will also have more time to take a coffee break and ponder life and art here with all of you.  See you soon.

I shared this picture on facebook a couple of weeks ago and within 5 minutes I had sold two of them.  I brought one of them to a girl at work this week and within a half hour I had sold another one.  I currently have more than 10  stones spoken for.  This doesn't include the ones I need to make to stock Christie's Potting Barn or the ones I need to make to build up my inventory for shows I intend to do this season.

I also need to build up my stock of flower angels and other ornaments for the upcoming seasons.  I think I have about 6 of the different designs of these.

I need to make some of these fused rounds.

These 3D chickadees

And 3D butterflies.

These are just some of the things I will be working on in the next few weeks.  I also have some new projects that I want to devote some time to.  I am also working on collecting furniture pieces that I plan to paint up to display art on at upcoming shows. Cody and I went to the Re-Use It Center in Ann Arbor last night.  I picked up a cute little cabinet and a small standing shelf. We went back this morning and I picked up another cute standing shelf and a small table and a old wooden step ladder. I cans wait to see them all painted up for displays.  I will take pictures of everything I am working on and share them as I get them finished.  God is being so good to me this summer.  Money may be tight but I am having fun with what I am working on and am staying so busy.

I hope everyone is as blessed by god as I have been!  See you all soon.

Was at Mom's for the holiday weekend.  Ginger and I had out annual art show and gift shoppe at His House, next to New Beginnings Church in Mc Bain Michigan.

While I was there Mom had to go to Christie's Potting Shed in Marion.  I didn't go with her since I had to finish painting a sign to put out for the show.  When she was there Christie noticed her pendant and asked where she had gotten it. Of course it was one I had made so she proudly told her that her daughter made it.  Christie asked her to have me stop inand show her what I had. She wanted to display and sell them in her gift shop.  On Monday morning Ginger, Mom and I stopped in there while we were out putting flowers on the graves of Dad and our Grandparents.  She took a look at the pendants as well as my portfolio and asked me to get them ready for display and bring them back in.  She also wants some of my stained glass stepping stones and other garden art.

I pray that this is the beginning of something good.  If you happen to be in the area, please check out my work as well as Ginger's pins and pendants made from aluminum cans.  Christie's is full of wonderful art, antiques and garden items as well as all the plants to have in your garden!

The Lord will be keeping me busy for the next few months.  Our church is beginning a new study called "Living The Script" on February 5th.  In this study we will read the New Testament in 8 weeks and discuss it in small groups on Wednesday nights.  I will be facilitating a small group during this study.
Our women's studies, which meet on Tuesday nights started Follow Me by David Platt this past Tuesday night.  I am part of a group for this study as well.
Keeping up with the reading as well as the studies will be a challenge but I don't believe that I would feel compelled to do both of these studies if I couldn't do it.

Started a new diet on Tuesday.  I know why start on Tuesday?  No good reason.  Just got the motivation to get it started.  I am taking Garcinia Cambogia.  This is the diet supplement that Christina Agullara used to lose 36 pounds. Rachel Ray used it as well.  I wanted to give it a try and see if it works.  I don't want to get dependant on the diet pills to keep the weight I do lose off, so I am going to try to change my lifestyle along with the dieting.  I will be tracking my progress here.
I am working an exercise program into my life along with a few minimal changes to my diet.
I am running on the exercise trampoline for 30 minutes every other day and working on upper body strength  training on the  home gym the other days.
The diet changes include just simply trying to make better choices at meal time and not snacking so much.  I have also cut my pepsi intake in half.  Eventually I would like to eliminate it all together but it is such a bad habit.
So far since Tuesday, I have lost 7 pounds.
Wish me luck!
