Wow! There is nothing like swimsuit shopping to get a girl motivated to lose weight. I decided yesterday that I am going to start going to a water aerobics class with a couple of my friends. For this I needed a new swimsuit, since I haven't bought one in several years. Needless to say, this meant trying on multiple swimsuits. After the first one, I put myself on a strict diet and workout regimen. I did find one that I am comfortable in, even though it isn't in a size I am happy with. When I got home from shopping, I put the soda I was drinking into the fridge, grabbed a water and spent an hour working out HARD! I knew I needed to get back to it after not being allowed or able to do it for the past 16 months, but my time in the dressing room seriously got me motivated. I am going to be extremely sore tomorrow morning.

I hope you have all had a wonderful weekend.

This is a pendant that I made a few years ago. It got set aside til I could decide what I wanted to do with it.

I found the perfect beads to compliment it last week. It is beaded with circular black glass beads with black glass seed beads and small white glass beads between. I wanted the bead work to compliment, not overwhelm the stained glass and copper pendant.
Have a wonderful day!

I have been hard at work in the studio. This is one pendant out of a series of 32 of them that I made last week. This is the only one I have put a bail on and beaded.
Because this is the one I decided to keep for my own. I went with a simple strand of red, orange and yellow glass beads to compliment the pendant.

Here are the rest of the pendants in the series. As you can see, they are all made from the same glass but come in all different shapes and sizes. If you are interested in having one of them for yourself or as a gift for someone else, please feel free to contact me. I will wait to put bails on them so that you can decide which way you would like to see the pendant hang. I know we all have our own sense of style. Now I have a series in purples in the kiln. Then I will be working with other colors as well. If you have color suggestions, please let me know. I already have one request for blacks, grays, whites, and silver...that one will be next.
Have a great day!
